Johnny at 15 months

This little fighter pilot has maneuvered his way
into everyone's hearts.

At 15 months he . . .

  1. Is now in the 25% percentile for weight (yea!)
  2. Is still in the 25% percentile for height
  3. Is sill in the 90% percentile for head circumference.
  4. Sleeps from 7 pm to 7 am, rarely waking.
  5. Nurses morning and night and takes two bottles during the day.
  6. Is transitioning from two naps to one, but is still napping a total of 2.5 hours a day.
  7. Goes to his nanny, Laurie, and her daughter, Emily (4), twice a week. He loves it there.
  8. Gets babysat regularly by Grandma Alley and Grandma Wilbur.
  9. Loves brushing his teeth, especially by himself.
  10. Likes to run around with his arms behind him making an airplane noise.
  11. Can play alone with his toys (or anything bound to make a mess).
  12. Folds his arms for prayer.
  13. Still eats just about everything, and insists on using a fork or spoon.
  14. Wipes his mouth with a napkin after eating.
  15. When asked to sing a song, will start singing nonsense noises.
  16. Likes to help clean.
  17. His favorite play place is mommy's dirty clothes hamper.
  18. Has started discovering the art of the temper tantrum.
  19. Doesn't watch any TV - mommy's tried, but he's just not interested.
  20. Loves books.
  21. Is very attached to his blanket.
  22. Has about 10 teeth, including 2.5 molars
  23. Can point to his nose, eyes, ears, hair, mouth, tongue, teeth, feet, toes, belly button, and hands. Can point these out in others, too.

He is adorable-that's all there is to it. And he is SO loved. What a neat support system you have. How is your new home? How are you?

What a special little sweetheart! The most adorable "fighter pilot" I have ever seen! These pictures made my day...he grows and changes so fast, seems like much longer than a scant 2 months that I was privileged an occasional quick hug at Thanksgiving time in Colo.
A happy Great Grandma

Wish I was there to see it all! What a cutie with both you and John in him. Thanks for sharing the details so I can enjoy and be excited from afar! He's grown so quick. Pretty soon you can teach him to say "Mommy, I appreciate you!". Hey, we'll take what we can get right?
