Thursday: The Arrival late that night.
Friday: Panama City Beach to see Jevonne, Steve's cousin, and cheer her on -- she ran the Iron Man on Saturday. We took a boat excursion Dolphin Watching. My first time seeing Dolphins in their natural habitat.
Saturday: Chicken Catching (what?! is that weird?), playing around the house, and dinner with the grown-ups at McGuire's Irish Pub, where Steve was "encouraged" to kiss the Moose in front of the whole restaurant after the performer sang him Happy Birthday! Thanks for taking one for the team, Steve! We sure enjoyed it. :) After dinner, we came home and had a little birthday celebration. I made him a key lime pie. My first time, but it turned out pretty good.
Sunday: Church, big dinner, and the Klepariks came over to play games. Julie and Amanda were college roommates back in the day.
Monday: Steve and Trenton went on a guided fishing trip, then Julie and I joined them for some beach fun at Perdido Key. A quick run through the National Aviation Museum on NAS Pensacola (where John met up with us), and then they were off to the airport -- much too soon! I wish they could have stayed another month!!

Jeepers - that's a legit iron man! None of this wimpy 0.5 mile swim, 5k run, 20 mile bike. Impressive! Emily, are you next?
