For all you new mothers out there, a word of advice . . . don't use Johnson's Baby Bedtime Bath until your child is at least two, i.e past the phase of putting everything into his mouth.
I decided to try this new baby wash tonight, since it's supposed to calm your baby before bedtime and help them sleep better (nonsense, I'm sure). I didn't realize it was Bubble Bath! (In my defense, it says nothing about bubbles on the bottle.) The tub immediately filled with bubbles, which at first I thought was pretty fun since it's been a long time since I've had a bubble bath. Plus, I thought Johnny would have a blast with the bubbles.
Well, he didn't get it. He just kept trying to put the bubbles in his mouth via drinking it, sucking them off his hands, sucking them off his toys, you name it. Instead of a fun, relaxing bath it turned into a not-so-relaxing bath with mama trying to dilute the bubbles as quickly as possible - not an easy task -- and constantly washing the bubbles off Johnny's face and out of his mouth.
I am excited for Johnny to take a bubble bath again, just not for another year or two.

How cute! I can just imagine.
Funny! Emma has always taken baths with bubbles and has eaten a lot of soap but still turned out ok. she actually steals the washcloth from you and starts sucking on it. gross, gross. :-)
One of those moments that was not exactly relaxing at the moment but that you can look back at later and laugh about! You should bring him to the beach with the sand and see what he eats... :)
THAT'S a funny story. You need to make sure you write that one down so you'll remember to share it with future girlfriends. Gotta love little boys!
Good to know! Thanks for the heads up.....it was a funny story though =)
