Ok, so that I can document some of the milestones, here's my little Johnny at 11 months:
- He weighs 19.5 lbs.
- He's a full-blown walker, and has been since 10 months. He just learned how to stand back up on his own without using a chair or the wall.
- He has 3 teeth.
- He has had 2 haircuts.
- He waves by opening and closing his fists.
- He waves his arms to the hymns, like he's conducting.
- Bedtime routine: bath and brush teeth at 7 pm, read books 7:20, nurse 7:30, bed by 7:45.
- He is sleeping mostly through the night, but wakes consistenly at 5:30 am. I just shush him back to sleep until 7 am (on the dot!).
- Words he says: daddy, Bekah, WOW, thank you, bye bye, uh-oh.
- Animal noises he makes: dog --- ruff ruff (more like a grunt), cat -- meow (so cute!), and monkey -- eee eee.
- He can point to his nose, and can grab others' noses.
- He is competely fascinated by birds, dogs, and airplanes (of his own accord).
- He naps from 9 to 10:45, and from 1:30 to 3 (roughly). He is an excellent napper, and rarely requires anything more than me just laying him down and walking out.
- When he gets mad he makes two fists, shakes his whole body, and goes ERRRRRR.
- He has no favorite foods, as I haven't yet found something he won't eat. He just isn't a huge eater in general. His eyes do light up when I show him yogurt, though.
- He gets REALLY excited when he sees Grandpa Wilbur, Grandma Alley, Bekah, and cousin Felicity.
- He is very observant, curious, and energetic. He doesn't laugh very often, but is very pleasant and easy-going.
- His mama's heart is overflowing with love for this little guy.
He is so fun in the tub!

He is so cute!!! Time does fly! Hope I can be a mom like you...when the time comes :) You are awesome!
And he's the best looking 11-month-old boy on the planet!
He is getting so big. What a cute little guy! You are an awesome mom and you are lucky to have each other.

Emily, he is so cute. He looks so much like his daddy. You are a great mommy! He looks like a very happy 11 month old.
What a neat list of milestones! Sure gives me a lot of wonderful word pictures and actions of a most precious little boy. I am so glad he brings so much joy to his deserving mother and others who get to see and be with him.
