After the football game, we went to Pensacola Beach. We don't think we went to the nice part; it was pretty trashy. And we couldn't get in the water because of rip current warnings. But we did find a nice boardwalk that went out in the water. It was really fun! It's great living by the beach.

A Great Date
Last weekend, John and I went on an adventure. It started out as a beach-hunt. We headed for Pensacola Beach, but took a detour through Gulf Breeze. We ended up passing a high school Homecoming football game. It was packed! It seemed like everybody from Gulf Breeze was there, so we decided to go take a look. It was half time and the score was tied 14-14! John was drawn in by the football; I was impressed with the large marching band. :) We watched the game from outside the chain-linked fence until 4th quarter so we could get in for free (don't roll your eyes at us -- it was $6 a person!!), and picked out seats amongst the away-team fans, whom we had decided to cheer for. It was an intense game, and we were really into it! Unfortuantely, our team lost in the end. But the burgers and fries we bought were cheap and yummy and that made up for it!
